Julie Dickey is the branch manager with Western Ecosystems Technology, Inc. (WEST) which is an environmental statistics and research consultation group dedicated to providing common sense, professional, and scientifically defensible approaches to natural resource problems facing government and industry. As a branch manager, Julie supports the Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Collaborative Program in a variety of projects.


Julie Dickey graduated from UNM in 2014 with a Masters in Community and Regional Planning, emphasis on natural resource and environmental planning. She works for Western Ecosystems Technology, Inc. (WEST), managing WEST’s Albuquerque branch office. Primarily, Julie leads a team that provides technical and administrative support to the Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Collaborative Program (MRGESCP). She also works on a variety of projects ranging from environmental permitting and compliance, to hydrologic and biological assessments.

Julie’s role with the MRGESCP focuses on supporting stakeholder collaboration in the Middle Rio Grande on issues pertaining to federally-listed species and state and regional water. As a project manager, she enjoys engaging in the planning process involved with resource management, and the challenge of working with diverse stakeholder groups
